Axis Festival is pleased to welcome youth players from the City Music and Performing Arts Service Flute Choir who will be playing in the foyer of the Victoria Hall prior to the BBC Philharmonic concert.
CMPAS aim to deliver a quality education that enhances the lives of our pupils in Stoke-on-Trent. They believe that making music is inspirational and enables pupils to realise their potential. They promote a culture of inclusion, team work and positive thinking, providing instrumental, vocal, and national curriculum music teaching in schools across Stoke-on-Trent and a wide range of evening activities to develop the skills of young people.
The service is expanding to engage to all people in the city - families, adults and young people.
Evening Activities The City Youth bands, orchestras and choirs are an excellent opportunity for your child to play or sing with other motivated and enthusiastic young people of all ages from across Stoke-on-Trent. Joining a beginner, intermediate or senior group is vital to progressing with your instrument or voice to becoming a good musician. Please follow the links on right for more information.
