(1 night only)
The latest film from the director of Etre Et Avoir is a poignant and touching exploration of memory and the passage of time. In 1975, Nicolas Philibert was an assistant director on a historical true-crime film, shot on location in Normandy with a cast of non-professional actors. Thirty years later, he returns to the tightly-knit farming community, to track down the locals who took part in the original film and see what paths their lives have taken. 'The Director's finest achievement to date', (London Film Festival).
