Shine Group
The Shine Group are one of the groups taking part in the 2008 Axis Festival community event, ONE CITY. This project has involved over 1000 local people so far, so we popped into the Shine group to have a sneak preview of what was going on. After 3 weeks of reminiscing work, artist Denise O'Sullivan had started work on her "making" workshops, and had we could see the beginings of what eventually will be a horse and cart. If you would like to be involved in the project, Denise will be holding an open workshop on Saturday 19th April at the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. Starting at midday the workshop is free and open to all.
